Intro
Owin Pierson is a Queer Asian-American full-time Content Creator and Mental Health Advocate. Getting his BA in Psychology and Education at George Mason University, Owin focuses his content on showing the intersections of mental health, lifestyle and travel and how those spaces highlight and safely include BIPOC and Queer communities.
Coming from a biracial household taught him at a young age that mainstream media rarely showcased or represented his communities and wanted to help make space and change that. Owin currently is a digital nomadic influencer who is usually found in NYC or LA. Owin has been featured in Forbes, Ad Week, Yahoo and more. Recognized and most recently was on a NY Time's Square billboard with OutFront Media and GLAAD to kickoff their "15 Seconds of Fabulous" Campaign with the message "Happiness is for Everyone.”
Owin continues to help create positive messages and working with brands from all over the world to help spread the positive pillars he stands for. He currently is working on his first book which will give a deeper look into his upbringing and ways he overcame trauma, relationships and dating in the lgbtq+ community, career obstacles and growth, influencer life, and ultimately leaving behind the cult he grew up in: the Unification Church aka “the Moonies” and finding his own spirituality and path in life.
